23 editions of Zak Glass Technology

2003

The first Zak Glass Technology Expo

India's glass industry was young and largely unorganised when the first edition opened. Float and processed glass were arriving from new suppliers, and architects and developers — eager to see what was possible with glass in a building — needed a place to find the machinery, hardware and finished products together in one room. The show became that place.

Soon after

The doors, windows & aluminium shows follow

Demand from the same audience led Zak to launch the Zak Doors & Windows Expo and the Zak Aluminium Extrusions Expo, co-located alongside glass. Together the three shows now cover the full building envelope under one roof, each feeding buyers to the others.

Today

125 brands, 22 countries, one floor

The 23rd edition now brings 125 exhibiting brands from 22 countries to Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. Glass producers, processors, machinery builders and finished-product makers use it as their window into the latest technology available in India — and many glass businesses trace their start back to a stand on this floor.

Zak Group Who's behind it

About the organiser

Zak Exhibitions & Conferences — known simply as "Zak" — has organised the Glass Technology Expo since the beginning. Founded in 1994, the company has since run more than 600 exhibitions and conferences spanning 22 industries across 50 countries, with a core focus on acting as the bridge between exhibitor and visitor.

Glass, façade, fenestration and aluminium extrusion events are where Zak specialises. Close working relationships with the industry's established names give the team a practical read on the challenges the sector is facing, and shape how each edition of the show is run.
